    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Beckham initially appeared on a big screen inside the CBS Sports' studio but appeared to be struggling with some technical issues. "David, where are you?" screamed Richards, clearly upset about not being able to speak to his "hero". Little did Richards, or Carragher, know that Beckham was actually present – and standing right behind them. It made for a brilliant clip as the pair realised Beckham was there, with Richards leaping out of his chair in shock.
